Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery, Chicago, at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Dec. 30. Visitation is from 3 p.m., until the start of the service Thursday evening at the funeral home. County Sheriff's Office say the accident happened Friday afternoon in the Sand Flats Recreation Area.According to deputies, 28-year-old Destiny Dixon, of Prescott, and 51-year-old Debbie Swann, of Apache Junction, were on a path known as Hell's Revenge Trail.Deputies say the two were trying to navigate an obstacle locals call the "Tip Over Challenge."Authorities on the scene found the vehicle in flames.Both women were pronounced dead at the scene.Their bodies have been turned over to the Utah State Medical Examiner's Office.Read or Share this story: http://azc.cc/2c2riR7...Monday, September 05, 2016
Friday, Sept. 2, at a popular off-roading spot near Moab, Utah.Destiny Dixon, 28, formerly of Prescott, was the driver, according to the Grand County Sheriff’s Office, and Debbie Swann, 51, from Apache Junction, was her passenger.They were driving the Ranger at a place locals call the “Tip-Over Challenge” on the Hell’s Revenge Trail in the Sandflats Recreation Area, east of Moab, when a call to 911 at about 3:50 p.m. reported that the UTV was in flames.When emergency responders arrived, the vehicle was still burning, and the two women were pronounced dead at the scene.Brian Fisher, a Prescott resident and taxidermist, said Dixon had worked for him for a time and then moved to Utah.“I spoke with her by text message … about two or three months ago, and she had inquired about coming back to work for me,” Fisher said, “and at the time, I wasn’t able to hire her back on.“She said she thought she was going to be staying in Prescott for a while, had no plans of moving.”He said Dixon “loved life and life loved her. She sure enjoyed getting out and wasn’t afraid to be a gypsy girl, and move around, and meet new people and become friends with everybody.“She dang sure wasn’t afraid of much.
