He was 68.A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Nov. 21, in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in Dierks, Ark., with Burl Young officiating.John Alvin Tomblin was born May 29, 1948, in Fairfax, Okla. He was a supervisor for Weyerhaeuser for 36 years, a member of the Burg Church of Christ and a member of the Umpire Volunteer Fire Department for 36 years.He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert “Bob” and Mildred “Millie” Poston Tomblin.He is survived by his wife, Peggy White Tomblin; two sons, Shawn Tomblin and Matt Tomblin, both of Burg, Ark.; three sisters, Cheryl LeMonnier, Sandra Brown and Jana Fredricks, all of Ponca City; five grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.You may register on-line at www.wilkersonfuneralhomes.com

A Celebration of Life service for Marlene A. Dierksen age 79 of Drummond will be 10 am Monday at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Vernon Lee officiating. Burial will be in the Waukomis Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Marlene was born December 7, 1937 in Enid, OK to Frank and Anna Hladik Skoda and passed away early Thursday, March 23, 2017 in the Garland Road Nursing and Rehab Center. She attended and graduated from Waukomis High School. Marlene married Ruey Dierksen on September 13, 1959 in Bison, OK. Marlene is survived by her husband Ruey of the home, son Dustin and his wife Sabrina, twin grandchildren Cole and Presley, nephews Brian and Joe Skoda, great nieces and nephews Eric, Kendra, Christopher and Craig Skoda, and sister-in-law’s Margaret Skoda and Laila Bateman. Memorials may be made to Drummond PTA-playground fund and Enid SPCA with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds. Condolences may
