Ty Moore and his wife Meredith of Joplin, Missouri, her daughter Kaci Moore of Stillwater, Oklahoma, her brother Bill Harris of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, sister in-law; Earlene Harris of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, niece Amada Harris of Oklahoma City, OK and nephew Johnny Easttom and his wife Karla of Edmond, Oklahoma, step brother Lynn LeFlore, Jr. of Camas Washington and step sister; Cheryl Nelson of Norman, Oklahoma, two aunts; Debbie Holuby and her husband Ronald of Skiatook, Oklahoma, Kay Collier of Crowder, Oklahoma, four uncles; Dennis Harris and wife Shirley of Hartshorne, Oklahoma, Bobby Harris and his wife Janice of McAlester, Dave Harris and his wife Linda of McAlester, Oklahoma and Doyle Harris and his wife Lisa of Red Oak, Texas. Sondra will be missed by numerous cousins, other relatives and friends. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 pm, Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Jay. Services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Bulldog Arena in Jay, Oklahoma. Sondra will be laid to rest in her home town of McAlester, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be held at 3PM at the Memory Garden Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made in Sondra’s name to the “Sondra Moore Memorial Fund” at any Arvest Bank location. Carl Wheeler, 83, of Safford, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017, in Gilbert. Carl was born Jan. 29, 1934, in Bowie. He was the second child of Ben Mason and Lena Pearle Inglis Wheeler, with an older sister, Betty Jean.His early childhood was spent on the family homestead, known as the Wheeler Place, just northeast of the town of Bowie in southeastern Arizona. The Wheeler Place is still, to this day, a location on Arizona maps. When his sister was old enough to go to school, they moved south to the town of Paradise. Later, they moved to Lancaster, Calif., where he started first grade. He also went to grade school in Plantsite, Morenci and Virden, N.M., where his father obtained employment as a carpenter.When Carl was 12, the family moved to Pima. He attended the Pima schools, and during his senior year, his mother passed away due to cancer. After graduating, his sister was away attending college and his father decided to go to California, so Carl enrolled in Eastern Arizona Junior College. He had participated in all the sports while in high school, and he continued his interest in sports at EAJC.He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1956 and went

Johnson, 87, of Brooks Stuart Drive, Greenwood, SC, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital, Greenville, SC.She was the daughter of the late Lafayette and Juanita Searles Lane. She was raised in the home of her great-grandmother Carrie F. Ashmore. She was married to the late Willie W. Johnson.At an early age, she joined the Springfield AME Church in McCormick, SC. She later joined the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church of Cross Hill, SC, where she serviced faithfully until her health failed. She was the president and organized the Bethel Hymn Choir, a deaconess, missionary, and she organized the pastor’s aide ministry and served as the first president. She was the kitchen directress for over 12 years and the youth advisor and driver for the youth. She served in the Little River and Tumblin Shoals Union and the Caterer for the Lauren County Minister Allowance Prayer Breakfast for several years. She was a Sunday School Superintendent and teacher. She assisted Bishop Spearman driving to revivals and served under his ministry for 46 years. Vannah Avenue in Portland, where they raised three sons. Her husband worked as an investment adviser, while she stayed home to raise their kids. A loving and attentive mother, she was fearless, adventurous and devoted to the family, her sons said.When her husband was called to serve during the Korean War, Mrs. Sinnett traveled from Portland to Japan by train and ship with their 5- and 2-year-old children and an infant in tow. The family spent the next year in Japan.Chandler Sinnett, the youngest of her sons, shared memories of their summers on Bailey Island. His parents built a cottage on the island in 1957, where Mrs. Sinnett often led her kids on walks to explore tidal pools and marine life. She also shared her passion for science with them. “She was Mom,” Chandler Sinnett said. “She was always there for you. She helped us explore the world.”Mrs. Sinnett worked and volunteered at the Maine Audubon Society for more than 10 years. She did office and clerical work, and participated in the annual bird-breeding survey for more than 25 years. “The scientist in her enjoyed being in nature and observing,” Chandler Sinnett said. “She enjoyed the challenge of trying to identify as many birds as she could in the time permitted.”Mrs. Sinnett was active in the Woman’s Literary Union and various garden clubs, including the Longfellow Garden Club. She enjoyed cooking and baking, knitting and playing games. As recently as a few months ago, she was playing a video game on Wii Fit. Mrs. Sinnett and her husband, who died in 2010, were married for 66 years. They enjoyed spending summers at Bailey Island and traveled to Puerto Rico every February. They made many lifelong friends there.“Both of my parents were fabulous examples of how to live your life,” Everett Sinnett said. He will be deeply missed.Devin is survived by his mother, Sheila Meyers of Boise; his father, Douglas and his wife, Jennifer Meyers of Grand View; his brothers, Danny and his wife Lana DeBeaumont of Boise and Michael Dylan Meyers of Boise; his step-sister, Jaden Pollard of Grand View; his paternal grandmother, Cherry Meyers of Grand View; his maternal grandparents, John and Sandra Riegles of Boise; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Also leaving behind two sisters, Earlene Primeaux & husband Ricky; Bernella Cormier & husband Phillip; one brother, Irby Cormier & wife Rose; Godchildren Latrell Primeaux & Shirleen Ross; and a host of other nieces and nephews. Anna had a great love for working in her yard producing the most beautiful flowers and plants; along with decorating her yard for Christmas time. She also loved helping others and fishing, but the greatest love of all was her family. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Clyde Cormier of Mire; one son, Timothy Meche; two grandsons Jeremy Lee Meche and Shallon Meche; two brothers, Ferroil & Earl Cormier & one sister Velma Beniot. She was a parishioner of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Mire, where her funeral services will be held on April 4, 2017 at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Msgr. Richard Greene will be the Celebrant. Her family requested that visiting hours be observed on April 3, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will resume on Tuesday, April 4,2017 at 8:00 AM until just prior to the time of service.
