Interment will be in the Burneyville Cemetery, Burneyville, under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Marietta.Born May 27, 1934 at Leon, the daughter of Buford “Butch” Phillips and Minnie Taliaferro Phillips Bone, Mrs. Barrick passed away Thursday, July 28, in the Lake Country Nursing Center, Marietta.A resident of Love County all of her life, Sue was a graduate of Burneyville High School. On Aug. 22, 1955, she married J.T. Barrick, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 3, 1984. Sue worked at Uniroyal as a bead builder, retiring after 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and working cows, but most of all she loved watching her grandchildren play sports. Sue had been a member of Marietta’s Eastside Baptist Church for 45 years.In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Sid Bone; stepbrothers, S.F. Bone and Jimmy Dale Bone; brother and sister-in-law, Sammie Joe and Peggy Phillips; and sister, Laura Belle Bell.She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Sheila Barrick of Mari

Interment with military honors will follow in the Eastman Cemetery under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta, Okla.Mr. Goldsmith was born January 16, 1933, at Burneyville, Okla., the son of Robert Henry Goldsmith and Ruth Jane Daily Goldsmith. He passed away Friday, June 17, in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta, at the age of 83.Taylor graduated from Burneyville High School and then married the former Annie Pearl Clark on January 26, 1952, in Marietta. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, as well as the Good Conduct Medal. After returning home from service, Taylor was employed as an instructor at the Ardmore Truck Driving School and as an over-the-road truck driver hauling freight for many years. He enjoyed watching the Grand Ole Opry Reunion, the RFD Channel and westerns, and listening to the Gaither Homecoming. Taylor will long be remembered for his story telling and jokes. He was a longtime member of the Eastman Baptist Church.Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Annie Pearl Goldsmith on July 11, 2014; son, William Taylor Goldsmith, Jr. on February 6, 2012; and son-in-law, Larry Logan on March 24, 2006.He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Cheryl Goldsmith of Pauls Valley, Okla., and Bobby Ray and Deana Goldsmith and Robert Lee

On Aug. 22, 1959, she married Paul Edward Hallum in Marietta. Carolyn was a homemaker who enjoyed her family more than anything, especially being with her grandchildren.
