Litke, Sr., died peacefully on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Glendale Center surrounded by her loving family.Genevieve was born on January 24, 1932 in Pittston, PA a daughter of the late Genevieve and Leroy McDonnell and had lived in Naugatuck for most of her life. Jean was a former employee of the footwear division of Uniroyal, Inc. and of O.G.I. and was a long time member of the former Immanuel Lutheran Church. Jean is survived by her 7 children, Norma Lisieski and her husband Philip, Jim Litke, Norman F. Valaria Ulis Wood Gallon, 93, died May 17, 2017, peacefully in Hospice of the Valley in Glendale, AZ, after a brief illness.Born Oct. 5, 1923, in the Chicago, IL, area, she was a daughter to Joseph and Ella Ulis. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Robert J. Gallon.As an infant she was brought to Ohio by her mother and grew up in Carroll County on a farm owned by Harry Wood, her mother’s second husband, whom she knew as “Daddy”. It was a blended family with children from two marriages, growing up as brothers and sisters. She has one surviving sister, Marcella Wood Lambert, who resides in Stark County.Valaria was a homemaker residing in Harlem Springs, OH, raising two sons, Robert W. (Ellen J.) Gallon and John A. May 13, 1934-March 10, 2017TWIN FALLS — Francis “Fran” Bergin, 82, of Twin Falls, Idaho, died Friday, March 10, 2017 at Heritage Assisted Living.He was born on May 13, 1934 in Glendale, Idaho to Alphonsus and Ruth Bergin. He was one of six children. Four brothers and one sister. He married his high school sweetheart Norma Broyles in 1953.He worked for Ford Motor after leaving high school until he decided to pursue a life career as a funeral director. The family moved to San Francisco to attend College and later returned to Shoshone, Idaho where he opened Bergin Funeral Chapel.Fran worked several jobs, many at the same time. He was a funeral director, operated the ambulance service in Lincoln County, and also worked as a Mechanic for Thorne’s Chevron. He operated the school buses for the Shoshone School District, was elected coroner for Lincoln County, worked as secretary-treasurer for the Shoshone Cemetery and was even Lincoln County sheriff for a short time.He was very active in Rotary and Chamber of Commerce. Helen is a graduate of Crosby High School and the University of Connecticut. Helen retired from the Scovill Manufacturing Company where she worked as an administrative secretary. Helen loved her family and for many years was a caregiver to her father. She traveled extensively throughout the world and she was a faithful member and volunteer at the First Congregational Church of Waterbury.
