SIMI VALLEY >> Conroy’s Flowers owner Tamara Mendez was up well before dawn Tuesday scouring downtown Los Angeles for pink peonies — Nancy Reagan’s favorite flower — for a large heart wreath commissioned for the former first lady’s Friday funeral.The memorial wreath was commissioned by a former European leader who asked to remain anonymous, she said.
