Emergency Medical Services were called to the scene, but the man was pronounced dead.Officials said the parish coroner will determine the exact wounds and how the man died.Police added they do not know at this time if the man was shot in the cemetery, or if his body was dumped there. He went under water and was unable to come up for air, Shore said.Early stages of the investigation indicated Hodges was hit by the propeller as the empty boat circled back to where he was in the water. But Shore said Friday the autopsy revealed no significant propeller injuries on Hodges' body. Shore has ruled Hodges' death accidental, caused by drowning.The others in the boat, an Anderson County deputy and a representative from the Army Corps of Engineers, were not injured, but were treated for shock.The investigation remains open and is led by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, the agency that investigates deaths on waters throughout the state.More than 200,...

Carolina.Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said the Bell 47G helicopter struck some trees in a field near Darlington around 5 p.m. Friday before crashing.Darlington County Coroner J. Todd Hardee told media outlets that 60-year-old James Schuster died instantly.Records show Schuster was a dentist practicing in Timmonsville.Bergen says Schuster was the only person in the helicopter. She says the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the cause of the crash.
