She formerly worked as a seamstress with Oxford Industries.Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Marietta Williams of the home; two brothers, Willie Spearman of Greenwood, Charlie Washington Spearman, III (Bishop Ethel Tolbert Spearman) of Greenville; a sister, Earline Spearman Aiken of Greenwood; three grandchildren, Jaeunna Williams, Adrienne Williams, and Dephontavious Williams.Services will be held Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Allen Chapel AME Church, with Reverend Annette Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Evening Star Cemetery. MARIETTA — A service celebrating the life of Carolyn Ann Hallum, 76, of Burneyville, Okla., is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, April 6, 2017, in the First Baptist Church of Marietta with Dr. Dennis Wiles officiating, assisted by the Rev. Ryan Eakins. Interment in the Leon Cemetery, Leon, Okla., will follow under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Marietta.The daughter of Walter Franklin Coble and Amy Roselia Chambers Coble, Carolyn was born Sept. 10, 1940, in Leon. She passed away Monday, April 3, in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta.A 1958 graduate of Marietta High School, Carolyn then attended Draughon’s Business School. On Aug. 22, 1959, she married Paul Edward Hallum in Marietta. Carolyn was a homemaker who enjoyed her family more than anything, especially being with her grandchildren. Her family considered her to have a doctorate in parenting and marriage. Carolyn’s middle name was “go” and she was the happiest when attending her grandchildren’...
