Saturday, April 1, at Church of the Cross at 2 p.m. Cremation has taken place and no visitation will be held.Chad was born on May 12, 1971, to Bruce and Sheryl Hanson of Jamestown. He grew up in Jamestown and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1989. Chad attended North Dakota State School of Science, graduating with a degree in Civil Engineering and Surveying Technology. He began his career in Land Surveying in North Dakota, working for Interstate Engineering and the North Dakota Department of Transportation, where he met his future wife. Chad married Stacey Erickstad on July 17, 1999. Their love of adventure and the outdoors led them to Arizona, where Chad worked as a Land Surveyor for David Evans & Associates, Collins/Pina Consulting Engineers, and Tetra Tech. After returning home, Chad continued his career where it began. At the time of his death, he was employed at the North Dakota Department of Transportation, Design Division.Chad enjoyed spending time with his family and was so proud of his kids. He loved attending all their music and sports activities. Chad had a true love of the outdoors. His passions were hunting, camping, and photography. Raymond C. Wickmark, 84, of Jamestown, passed away at 7:50 a.m. Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, in the Lutheran Home and Rehabilitation Center.A lifelong area resident, he was born Feb. 22, 1933, in Jamestown, N.Y., a son of the late Herbert L. and Ethel I. Taylor Wickmark.Ray was a 1950 graduate of Falconer Central School and served in the New York Army National Guard for 10 years.Before his retirement in 1996, he served as the electrical inspector for the New York Board of Fire Underwriters for 10 years. He had also owned and operated Wickmark Electric Company working as a self-employed electrician for 25 years.He was a member of the Lakewood United Methodist Church, the Mt. Moriah Lodge 145 Free and Accepted Masons, the Kharram Grotto, the Lakewood Kiwanis Club, the Herman Kent Post 777, American Legion, Celoron and a longtime member of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors.Surviving are his wife of 64 years, the former Sandra E. James “Jim” Victor Valentine, 68 year old resident of Jay, Oklahoma, passed away on February 23, 2017.Jim was born on October 22, 1948 in Jamestown, New York. He was the son of Vincent V. and Shirley (Heath) Valentine. Jim proudly served in the United States Army from 1968-1971. He was united in marriage to Jean Ellis on July 12, 1991 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jim was a small business owner that specialized in computer programming. Jim was preceded in death by his father Vincent Valentine, his maternal grandparents Henry and Ethel Heath, his paternal grandparents Emmons and Dorothy Valentine. He is survived by his wife Jean Valentine of the home, his mother Shirley Valentine of Jenks, OK, his five children; Vincent Valentine of Dallas, TX, Victoria Douglas and her husband Shane of Chelsea, OK, Christina Hampton and her husband Cliff of Chelsea, OK, Lindsey Reddick and her husband Geoffrey of Nixa, MO and Nicholas Johnson and his wife Stacy of Tulsa, OK.
