Left to cherish Kylie's memory are her parents Tom and Crystal Hendrix of Leslie; sister Tommie Lyn Hendrix of Leslie; and grandparents Ula May Rowe and husband Steve of Yellville, Lyndon Hendrix and wife Katie of Snowball, Marcy Western and Mark Mondahl of North Little Rock, and Roger Smith and wife Becky of Harrison. U.S. Navy, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 16, 2017, at his residence in Chesapeake, Va.Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, April 24, at the Conway-Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station, Wis., with Pastor Rick Engen officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.Ryan was born Nov. 5, 1995, in La Crosse. He attended high school in Wisconsin Dells, and following graduation, to satisfy his ambition to serve his country, he enlisted into the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Virginia, attaining the rank of HT3/E4. His primary duties were hull maintenance technician, where he was able to apply his abilities and talents as a fabricator and welder on-board ship. While in high school, Ryan had worked for two years as a lifeguard at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells, had a love and interest in cars and trucks, and enjoyed playing guitar. Ryan is survived by his wife, Alexis Leigh Fladhammer; father, Doyle (Diane) Fladhammer of Wisconsin Dells; mother, Debra (Terry) Monroe of Hawkeye, Iowa; siblings, Brent and Allison of Wisconsin Dells; and paternal grandparents, James and Verna Fladhammer of New Mexico. LYNDON – Earl T. Rhodes, 71, of Lyndon, died on Tuesday morning, Jan. 17, 2017, at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, surrounded by his loving family.He was born May 13, 1945, in Tipton, Iowa, the son of Lowell and Ida (Snelling) Rhodes. He married Rose Sanders on Oct. 7, 1967, in Sterling.            Earl was an Army veteran, and a lifetime member of Rock Falls Eagles Club, where he served as past conductor. He worked at Northwestern Steel and Wire Co. in Sterling for 31 years, prior to his retirement in 2000. Earl loved working in his garage doing various projects, including building custom bicycles and making furniture for his great-grandchildren. He enjoyed bowling and taking occasional trips with Rose to visit family in Arkansas. Most of all, he adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was devoted to his family.
