Growing up on a working ranch in Sunol, Calif., taught her the importance of hard work and building community.Mom taught hundreds of elementary-age children in Fremont, Livermore, Murphys, Pleasanton and Sunol from the early 1960s until her retirement. Her love of music and passion for teaching young minds could be seen in the many children’s choirs, Posadas, musicals and holiday concerts she directed. She held each and every student in her heart until the day she died. Gloria passed away peacefully on Sept. 8, 2016.She is survived by her children, Donnamarie Fuller, Maria Fuller Laubhan, Frank Fuller and Kurt Laubhan; grandchildren, Rebekah Maitland, Nicholas Fuller, Grant Laubhan and Andrew Maitland; great-grandchildren, Rachael Marie Maitland, Jessica Christine Maitland, Zachary Andrew Maitland and Isabelle Gloria Maitland.A Rosary will be said at 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, at San Andreas Memorial Chapel. Coffee prior to ceremony in lobby at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick’s Church in Angels Camp, with a burial following at Columbia City Cemetery, Columbia.
