Catholic Church Hall in Mermentau, La.Survivors include five sons, Louis and wife, Holly Geerts of Midland, TX., Paul and wife, Cindy Geerts of Evangeline, La., Michael and wife, René Geerts of Thibodaux, La., Tomas and wife, Lacie Geerts of Huntsville, TX., (Iraq), Kirk Geerts and fiancé Valarie Sawaya of Eunice, La.; two daughters, Judit Geerts of Morse, La. and Rachel and husband, Jon LaFleur of Lake Charles, La.; thirty grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.Ms. Lorilla was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Peter Geerts; her parents, Felix and Christine Richard; two brothers, Dalton Richard and James Richard.In Lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the 3rd Order of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
