Blacksten (Dick) of Denton, Md.; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Hann of West Palm Beach, Fla.; stepdaughter, Beverly Metcalf of Alaska; stepson, Caroll Main (Kathy) of Felton; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Nina U. Martin of Sykesville; and several nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by a son, Hayden M. Hann Jr. on Nov. 24, 2016; a great-grandson, Tristen Monroe; a great-great-granddaughter, Alaina Elizabeth; seven sisters; and three brothers.Through her illness, she had loving and devoted care from caregivers in her home, hospice and nursing home staff.The family will receive friends at Hartzler Funeral Home, 6 E. After starting her family, she later went to work for Grand Union Grocery Store in Fredericksburg where she was employed for over 25 years until her retirement. After retirement, she spent time in her yard planting shrubs and flowers, hand quilting in the winter months, and making quilts for her family. Mrs. Hall loved to stay busy and that included having grandchildren at her home where she lovingly cared for them.She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. Anne had a big heart and was very compassionate and would help others whenever she could. She will be missed by many.Mrs. Hall is survived by her children, Deborah H. Courtney of Fredericksburg, E.
