Jason FletcherCHELMSFORD -- One of the things that made Jason Fletcher's father most proud was what a great dad and husband his son had grown up to be."He was a good dad, and he was just a good supporter of kids," Jack Fletcher said Wednesday. "He was a good husband and a good son."Jason Fletcher, a longtime hockey and football coach at Chelmsford High School, was 43 years old when he died in his sleep sometime between Monday night and Tuesday morning, according to School Committee Chairman Al Thomas.He was the father of a 6-year-old daughter, and a dedicated husband."He was just a fun-loving guy with a heart of gold," Fletcher said.Fletcher said it appears a heart attack is responsible for his son's death.Word of Fletcher's death has shocked many in the community."I just saw him Friday night at the football game, with his wife, and his daughter on his shoulders," Thomas said.
