Brockton pizza shop owner.Lambrakis, 65, a resident of Easton and owner of Supreme House of Pizza in Brockton, died Aug. 30 of a heart attack while on vacation in Greece.He was laid to rest Monday in Melrose Cemetery in the city, following a funeral service held in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.The business, at the corner of Centre and Cary streets on Brockton's east side, has been closed since Lambrakis' death.Earlier this week, his son, Manny Lambrakis announced they would be reopening on Friday."My family and I wanted to say thank you to all our friends and family who came and paid their respects to my dad. We really feel like our customers are like family!" he posted on his Facebook page on Monday. "We have some cleaning to do at Supreme, and some prepping but we plan on reopening Friday."Jimmy has owned the popular pizza shop, located at 376 Centre St., since 1980 and taught his son and daughters everything he knows."We are definitely opening back up, granted it will be different without him but don't worry he has taught my sisters and myself exactly how the business will be run," Lambrakis said last week.The reopening of the restaurant is great news to many of their customers, including Cliff Canavan.Canavan is spearheading an effort to help the Lambrakis family make up their financial loss of being closed for over two wee...
