Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home - Grove (918) 786-2261 -Ruth “Dolly” Marie Randolph Wells Cummings, 101, year old Grove, Oklahoma resident passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017.Dolly was born on November 22, 1915 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to Walter and Katy Lee (Dunlap) Randolph. After high school Dolly worked most of her life in Siloam Springs for Dr. Kirk Burns as a dental assistant. She was an avid gardener who also loved playing cards, especially pitch. She also enjoyed fishing, but her greatest love was spending time with all of her grandchildren.Dolly was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters, Velma Swank, Ray Randolph John Randolph, Billy Randolph and Crystean Reed.Dolly is survived by a son William Eugene Wells and wife, Linda, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, two grandchildren, Doug Wells of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Debbie Stoneham and husband Pat of Franktown, Colorado, five great-grandchildren, Johnny Wells of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Billy Wells of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Ray Wells of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Meaghan Schultz and...

Her early education began in Florence after her father went into law practice here. She attended the Maude Lindsey Kindergarten, Kilby Training School and Coffee High School. She later attended Randolph-Macon Women’s College and graduated with a degree in history and art from Vanderbilt University in 1948.In 1949, she was married to the late Benjamin H. Craig, Jr. She is survived by six daughters: Landis Williams ( the late Ken Williams, Jr.), Caroline Craig, Nancy Murbury (Dave), Catherine O’Steen (Kevin), all of Florence, Margaret Schafer (Dan) of Houston, Texas, and Frances Guillemot (Gerard) of Los Angeles, CA. ; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.Ann showed interest in community from the beginning. She was an active member of the Muscle Shoals District Service League and served as one of its past presidents. A lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church, Florence, Ann served as elder, trustee, and Sunday school teacher while remaining active in the women of church. In addition, she held membership in the Florence Rotary Club, the Florence Historical Society, Shoals Preservation, Inc. and the National Society of Colonial Dames in America.The family would like to thank her caregivers for the past several years for there love and devotion.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Presbyterian Church, 224 E. She enjoyed watch St. Louis Cardinal Baseballs, but most importantly, she cherished her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Survivors include: two grandchildren, Holly Randolph and David Davidson, both of Jefferson City; and three great-grandchildren, Erek Nystrom, Kelli Nystrom and Aiden Randolph, all of Jefferson City.She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Barnhart in 2015 and her sister, Florentine Sutton in 2014.Visitation will be at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Wardsville from 10:00 until 11:00 am Friday, April 7, 2017.A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday, April 7, 2017 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with the Reverend I.C. Medina officiating. Private graveside services will be held at St. Cecilia Cemetery in Meta.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
