Altar Guild, which she had served on from the age of 16, and the Comforters Prayer Group. She also loved her service on the boards of the Children’s Home Foundation and the John B. Parsons Foundation.She so enjoyed her 9-hole golf group at Green Hill Country Club, her bridge group, and participating in the Daughters of the American Revolution. She had a love of music and dancing, which she shared with her late husband, as expressed through her involvement in the Peninsula Regional Medical Center Junior Board dance and its Grand March. She dearly loved animals, and in her lifetime, she cherished many special pets.She is survived by three children, Bravard Cornbrooks, Hank Phillips and Thomas W. Phillips; 10 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be held today, Aug. 18, 2016, at 3 p.m. at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, with Rev. David Michaud officiating. Interment at Parsons Cemetery will be at a later date.Contributions in her memory can be made to St. Peter’s Memorial Fund, 115 St. Peter’s St., Salisbury, MD 21801, or the Children’s Home Foundation (provides scholarships for youth and adults in financial need for vocational education), c/o Candy Minner, 423 South Second St., Denton, MD 21629.A...
