Ryan J. LaBine, 34, Rush City, Minn., formerly of Nashwauk-Keewatin area, died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, in Rock Creek, Minn.He was born on May 14, 1982, to Michael LaBine and Suzanne Erickson in Hibbing. Ryan was employed as a maintenance mechanic for Polaris in Osceola, Wis. He graduated from Eveleth Technical College, completing a two-year program in maintenance mechanic training. Ryan attended and graduated from N-K High School in 2000. He was a member of the Dirty Riders ATV Club. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, boating and riding his ATV. Ryan was such an outgoing, easy-to-get-along-with man, who could always make you smile.He is survived by wife, Jena LaBine of Rush City; two children, Nolan, 12, and Meranda, 9, LaBine, both of Rush City; his father, Michael LaBine of Keewatin; mother, Suzanne Erickson of Coolidge, Ariz.; his grandmother, Theresa LaBine of Hibbing; and two nephews, Devin Eskeli and Caleb Hunt.He was preceded in death by grandfather, Dennis LaBine; grandmother, Jean Jensen; and grandfather, Mason Kirk.Funeral: Services for Ryan will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing. Ann Manka, 92, died on Feb. 4, 2017, at the Life Care Center in Casper, Wyo.She was born to the late Nicola and Stana Bukovich on April 20, 1924, in Keewatin. Ann graduated from Hibbing High School. After high school she worked in Chicago, Ill., and was an original “Rosie the Riveter” to support the World War II effort. After the war, she married George Dicklich and started a family in Kinney and Buhl.Ann worked as an aide at the Buhl nursing home, as a housewife, a Serbian sister and a loving mother.She is survived by her four children: Eli and Barb Dicklich of Casper, Wyo., Georgann Lanzrath of Bozeman, Mont., Dan and Nancy Dicklich of New Lisbon, Wis., and Joan and Garold Nobblit of Evansville, Wyo.; five grandchildren: Christy, Lee, Melissa, Nick, Dustin and Jessie; and nine great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her seven brothers and sisters: Dan, Mike, Peter, Eli, Mildred, Mary and Angeline; and her late husband, Paul Manka.Funeral: Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 13, at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 710 E. March 2, 1920 - June 29, 2016Josephine F. Debelak, age 96, of Footville, WI, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Manor, Footville, WI. She was born on March 2, 1920 in Hibbing, MN, the daughter of Frank and Josephine (Mihelic) Praznik. She married Frank Debelak. He passed away in January of 1999. Josephine had been a farm wife all of her life.She is survived by three children: Karen (Carl) Keesey of Brodhead, WI, Larry (Jane) Debelak of Apple Valley, MN, Jim Debelak of Iron Mountain, MI; a brother, Louis (Aili) Praznik of Trenary, MI; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great great-grandson.
