Another performer is country music artist Aaron Crawford.The main remembrance ceremony is at 2 p.m., with wreaths laid for each of the U.S. military branches. Col. Wes Weston is the master of ceremonies, and U.S. Navy Chief Don Thompson is the keynote speaker.Also there will be a flag delivery by a Department of Homeland Security helicopter, the unveiling of a new World War I memorial and a dove release. Free hot dogs and refreshments are provided by Hemplers, Franz and The Woods Coffee. Expect kids’ activities and crafts. Feel free to bring your own chair.

Electro-Mechanical Engineering at Sinclair Community College.On Oct. 4, 2003, he married the love of his life, Tamara Dee (Hunt) Newby, who survives.Brian previously worked at Pace Dairy in Crawfordsville for 15 years, where he met his wife, Tami. He currently was pastor at Kingman United Methodist Church, an associate pastor at Spirit of Life Ministries and owned and operated Integra Engineering in Kingman.He loved people, woodworking, camping, fishing, hunting, anything outdoors, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.  He was very active in the church, went on several mission trips, belonged to the Men of Iron and was the assistant coach for Bloomingdale Bulldogs and Marshall Bobcats baseball teams.He is survived by his wonderful wife of 13 years, Tami; six children, Charlie, Allison (Brett) Williams, Brianna, Trent, Caleb and Marc; two granddaughters, Lilian and Adaline; his parents, Curt and Wendy Newby; two sisters, Jodi Newby and Stephanie (Augie) Lockhart; in-laws, Tom and Dee Hunt; brother in-law Tom (Misty) Hunt; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins; and his dog Rascal.Brian was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at Spirit of Life Ministries, 505 W. She was born Feb. 17, 1928 in Camp Point, Ill., to Clarence and Beatrice (Dutton) Mensendike. She married Burl David Crawford Sr., on Aug. 29, 1948, in Peoria, Ill.Survivors include two sons, Michael, and Burl Jr.; one brother, Jim Mensendike; one sister, Bonnie Huss; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burl Sr.; one son, David; and three brothers, Richard, Ray and Gene.Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 28, at Moore Cemetery in Nevada. His church membership was held at First Christian Church in Salem.Preceding him in death were his parents, Percy Edward and Roxie Ruth Crawford Baker; wife, Carolyn Slough Baker; and siblings, Robert, Sue, Nancy, Ceil, infant sister Sylvia Fay, Mary, James, Tom, and Curley.His surviving family includes his twin sister, Colleen Baker Sarver and husband, Virgil; mother-in-law, Margaret Allen; daughter, Belinda Baker Hale and husband, Donnie; granddaughter, Morgan; several nieces and nephews; special church friend, Lewis Armistead, who took Clarence to Salem football games and church; and his dancing dog, Napoleon.The family extends special thanks to the Virginia Veterans Care Center 1 East staff for his care.A period of visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, in the John M. In his younger days, he loved working on old vehicles. His church membership was held at First Christian Church in Salem.Preceding him in death were his parents, Percy Edward and Roxie Ruth Crawford Baker; wife, Carolyn Slough Baker; and siblings, Robert, Sue, Nancy, Ceil, infant sister Sylvia Fay, Mary, James, Tom, and Curley.His surviving family includes his twin sister, Colleen Baker Sarver and husband, Virgil; mother-in-law, Margaret Allen; daughter, Belinda Baker Hale and husband, Donnie; granddaughter, Morgan; several nieces and nephews; special church friend, Lewis Armistead, who took Clarence to Salem football games and church; and his dancing dog, Napoleon.The family extends special thanks to the Virginia Veterans Care Center 1 East staff for his care.A period of visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem. A funeral service will then be conducted at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dan Netting officiating.
