Violet Lierman was born on January 20, 1943 in Modale, IA to Merrill and Lena (Brown) McDonough. She graduated from North High School in Geneva, NE. She went on to attend Kearney State College and Western Iowa Community College in Sioux City, IA. Clara worked at Sioux City Foundry.On August 10, 1979, she married Dennis Lierman in Elk Point, SD. In 1983, they moved to Beemer, NE, where Clara operated the Beemer Café for a few years.Clara was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Beemer Optimists and West Point Crime Stoppers. Martha Sue Mines in 1960. He owned his own catering service, Bronc’s Catering and also worked many years for Adams Lithographing Company.  Ellsworth had a passion for reading books and viewing western movies.  He was an avid coin and stamp collector, a hobby he enjoyed very much. He was known for being a kind and thoughtful man.  He never met a stranger and would always share his stories and experiences with others. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Martha Sue Mines and his beloved mother, Lillie Mae Mines; brothers, Kenneth and Ronald Mines. Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Timothy, Dan and Patricia Mines; four grandsons, Adam, Matthew, Timothy and Jacob Mines; one granddaughter, Reegen Bailey; four great-grandchildren, Scarlett and Lorelei Rutledge, Beckham and Adaley Mines; four brothers, Anthony, Maurice, Michael and Paul Mines. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. on Monday, June 12, at Chattanooga Funeral Home East Chapel. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, at 12 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Reverend LaVerle Coats officiating.  Interment to follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with the United States Navy providing military honors. Please share your thoughts and memories at www.
