Viola's name be directed to the American Veterans Park- West Point or St. Paul Lutheran Church-West Point, or a charity of the donor's choice.Viola passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017 at the Wisner Care Center.Viola Wagner was born on March 15, 1924 at Beemer, NE to August and Anna (Stark) Liibbe. In 1929, after her mother’s death, August and his four children moved to West Point and lived with Anna’s sisters, Caroline and Louise Stark. They served as foster mothers to the four children. Viola attended St. Paul Lutheran School and graduated from West Point High School in 1941.Viola worked as a bookkeeper at Hill Hatchery, Ed Bauman Department Store, West Point Lumberyard and the True Value Store when it was added to the lumberyard. She was the head buyer at True Value and retired in 1986.On January 12, 1951, she was united in marriage to Ed “Cagle” Wagner in Fremont, NE.Viola was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir for many years, and served as the receiving Treasurer and on church council. She had served as president of the West Point Women’s Bowling Association, and served on the School Board of West Point Public Schools. She was president of the West Point Board of Education during the construction of West Point Jr.-Sr. High School. Viola enjoyed watching sports, especially ones that involved her children and grandchildren. This came from regularly attending baseball games with her father from the age of eight years old. Interment will be in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, rural Pender, NE after the luncheon. She graduated from North High School in Geneva, NE. She went on to attend Kearney State College and Western Iowa Community College in Sioux City, IA. Clara worked at Sioux City Foundry.On August 10, 1979, she married Dennis Lierman in Elk Point, SD. In 1983, they moved to Beemer, NE, where Clara operated the Beemer Café for a few years.Clara was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Beemer Optimists and West Point Crime Stoppers. Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner is in charge of the arrangements.Henry passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the Colonial Haven Nursing Home in Beemer, NE.Henry Herman Frederick Heller, Jr. was born on April 5, 1926 on the farm south of Wisner, NE to Henry, Sr. and Anna (Daberkow) Heller. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church, rural Beemer, NE. Henry attended Cuming Co. Rural School District #9, St. John’s Parochial School, and graduated from Wisner High School in 1943. After graduation he farmed with his brother Andy. He served in the United States Army Air Corps from 1946-1947.On June 22, 1947, he was united in marriage to Darlene Rider at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Bancroft, NE. The couple moved to the family farm south of Wisner, where he also was a Feed Salesman, did custom baling, and was a Farm Bureau Insurance Representative. Henry later went to work as a representative for Farmers Mutual Insurance and the couple built a new home in Beemer, moving into it in 1973. Henry was instrumental in forming the first hog co-op in Cuming County. She attended District #7 country school while living on the farm. The family moved to Beemer, where she attended Beemer Public School from 7th grade until graduating in 1948. After high school she went to work at Kuncl Drug Store for 2 years and then at the Farmers Elevator Company as a bookkeeper. She married John R. Bellar in 1954. They were blessed with three boys, John, Jay, and Jeff. They moved to Walthill in 1968 and Pastored an Assembly of God church for 27 years. Delores worked as a teacher aide for 20 years for Walthill Public School. They retired and moved back to Beemer in 1995 and then pastored the Baptist Church for 10 years. She served on the board of the Beemer Senior Center all of those years. She also had a ministry of music, singing at wedding, funerals, and many nursing home...
