She was a science teacher at Cranford High School from 1945-65, and finished her career with five years at Warren Hills Regional High School.A visitation at noon and funeral service at 1 p.m. will be held Monday at the Clinton United Methodist Church on Halstead Street.Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jennie M. Haver Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Nicholas Boxter, CPA, Treasurer, 3582 Route 22 West, P.O. Box 464, Whitehouse, NJ 08888.The fund was organized in memory of New Jersey's first "helping" teacher, Jennie M. Haver, who traveled to rural schools to advise and encourage teachers and supplement their lessons between 1916 and 1950.The fund's board of trustees stated going forward it will be encouraging the community to support the Hunterdon County Vocational School District Education Foundation.
