Center in Long Branch. Born in Harrison, NJ, he had lived in the Vailesburg section of Newark before moving to Long Branch in 1949. Raymond was an underwriter for Royal Globe Insurance Company in East Orange before retiring. He served our country honorably in the US Army during WWII.Raymond was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Mary Greco Fabiano; 2 brothers, Peter and Anthony and a sister, Jean Del Presto. Surviving are his sister, Gladys with whom he lived, and several nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third Ave.) in Long Branch on Monday, October 3 from 10 am until the time of the funeral Mass at 12 noon at Star of the Sea Church in Long Branch. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Middletown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ the King Parish, 380 Division Street, Long Branch, NJ 07740. The family invites you to write a letter of condolence, share a story or make a donation by selecting the appropriate tab.

EAST ORANGE, NJ – New Hope Baptist Church of East Orange is hosting its Annual Fall Revival during a three-night celebration. The distinguished Rev. Dr. Jerry M. Carter, Jr. is the guest revivalist for the event. Services began last night (Monday, September 19) and will continue through Wednesday, September 21 at 7 p.m. nightly.Rev. Carter is senior pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church of Morristown, New Jersey and is a speaker and author.  He has been a lecturer at Hampton University Ministries’ Conference, a national event - hosted annually - designed to provide a setting to academically stimulate and spiritually enrich ministers. It is the world’s largest gathering of interdenominational African-American clergy, according to Hampton University. Additionally, he has inspired others through his published works in the New Interpreters Handbook of Preaching, Oxford Sermons Volume III, Evangelizing the Black Male in the 21st Century and the African American Pulpit.Sign Up for E-NewsRev.
