Mary Ann Cerchio, age 80 of Ocean Twp., died Friday, March 24, 2017 at home. Mary Ann was born in Hoboken and raised her family in Leonia. She has been a resident of the shore area for the last 25 years. She was a customer service representative for EBSCO in Tinton Falls before retiring. She was predeceased by her husband David Cerchio, Sr. in 2008. Surviving are her son and daughter in law, David Cerchio, Jr. and his wife Maura; her daughter and son in law, Joyce Cerchio and her husband Ricardo Del Rio; 6 grandchildren, Christopher Cerchio and his wife Shelby, Ricardo Del Rio Cerchio, David Del Rio Cerchio, Katie Lynn Cerchio, Natalia Del Rio Cerchio and Victoria Cerchio, her great grandchild, Milena Cerchio and her loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 27 from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave. (corner of Third Ave.) in Long Branch. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 until 8 o’clock at Music Funeral Home.Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.musicfuneralhome.comJames Lawhorne Jr.HOBOKEN — James Ellis “Jay” Lawhorne Jr., 58, of Hoboken, passed away Saturday (Jan. 28, 2017) at his residence.Born in Atlanta May 5, 1958, he spent his younger years in Atlanta before moving to Blackshear to finish high school.  He lived in Charlton and Brantley counties for the last few years.“Jay,” as he was affectionately known, was a 1976 graduate of Blackshear High School and  worked in construction as a self-employed carpenter, a job for which he had been very talented.He loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle, play his bass guitar and watch the Georgia Bulldogs. Jay was a carefree man who loved to cut the fool and have fun with his friends and family. Subsequent to his tenure at Philips, he continued as a Business Consultant and Owner of Applied Management Systems up until the time of his passing. Dom is remembered as a consummate mentor, particularly renown for his guidance and leadership skills by those who had the privilege to know and love him.Dominick’s life revolved around his passion for his large extended family.
