Cutchogue.Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Helen; four children, Jean Krupski of Baiting Hollow, Vincent J. Krupski Jr. of Orlando, Fla., Richard H. Krupski of Rehoboth, Mass. and David Krupski of Clifton Park, N.Y.; his brother, Walter Krupski; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by an infant daughter, Helen Krupski in 1956; his brothers, Joseph, John and Stanley Krupski; his sister, Sophie Stype and by a great-grandson, Jack Stepnowsky in 2005.The family will receive visitors Tuesday, Oct. 18, from 4 to 8 p.m. at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Our Lady of Ostrabrama R.C. Church in Cutchogue by Monsignor Joseph W. Staudt. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart R.C. Peter Brown, Jr and his wife Sara Spector-Brown of Uxbridge, Kimberly Hegarty and her husband Matthew of Groveland, Jeffrey Brown and his wife Jennifer of Sturbridge, Timothy Martin of Clifton Park NY, Corina McGown and her husband David of Oxford, and Thomas Brown and his wife Jesse of Upton; fifteen grandchildren, Karissa, Tyler, MacKenzie, Nathan, Chad, Travis, Madison, Tayla, Jade, Ashleigh, Kyle, Cameron, Seamus, Payton and Rosie; great grandson, Jackson; two brothers, Thomas Brown of Marston Mills, and Dennis Brown of Auburn; numerous nieces, nephews and his beloved dog, Molly. He was predeceased by his sister, Joan (Brown) Standring. He was also predeceased by his beloved wife Elaine of 40+ years.Peter worked as a union floor coverer for over 30 years. He worked for Higgins Flooring, Kesseli & Morse in Auburn and retired from Mousseau Contract Flooring in Attleboro. He also owned and ran his own flooring contract business for many years. Peter treasured being surrounded by his family. He had a great love for playing hockey with his friends on the “Rusty Blades”, a national hockey club for players over 60 years old. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, traveling and camping.Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Peter’s family on Thursday August 25, 2016 from 5-8 PM in the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn.
