The family would like to express their sincere thanks for the support and care received throughout his illness from the residents and staff at Southampton Estates, in particular Chaplain Russ Van Antwerpen and the team in Willowbrooke Court, and also from the ACTS Signature Hospice Team, specifically Teresa Evans, RN, and for Marcia Slowly from ACTS Home Health, who so lovingly and tenderly cared for him in his illness.Fred's family will receive relatives and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 690 Belmont Ave., Southampton. A Rosary service will begin at 7:30 p.m. on the Blessed Mother's side of Church. Fred's relatives and friends will gather again from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 24, also at Our Lady of Good Counsel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Fred 10:30 a.m. Friday. Kenneth (Kenny) J. Taylor, 55, of 31 VanBuren St., Antwerp, passed February 2, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.A Celebration of Life with military honors will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home 117 N. Massey St., Watertown.  Calling hours will precede the service from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the funeral home.Born on September 14, 1961 in Newport Beach, CA, son of Kenneth T. and Joann E. (Witt) Taylor, he attended school in Modesto, CA.  Following school he entered the United States Marines on October 3, 1980 in Fresno, CA and served until July 4, 1983.  He continued serving in the reserves until he was honorably discharged as a Lance Corporal Officer on September 17, 1986 in Camp Pendleton, CA.While in California he met Gina M. Carolyn Ruth Long age 75, of Bushnell, Florida passed away January 2, 2017 at home. She was born May 16, 1941 in Antwerp, Ohio to Kenneth and Dorothy Wilson. Carolyn moved with her family in 1954 to Orlando and has been a resident of Central Florida ever since. Carolyn was devoted to her family. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. Carolyn was a fantastic seamstress, amazing cook and the most amazing mom. She managed her family through all circumstances extremely well. She is survived by her loving husband, Homer; children, Tom and his wife, Donna, Sherri and her husband Kenny; step-children, Jim Long, Mike (Rachel) Long, Marianne Marks and Lori (John) Lopez; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
