June 6, 2017, at Grace Pointe in Greeley. He was born Jan. 19, 1934, in Boulder to Jesse Miller and Esther Lucille (Adamson) Paddock of Greeley. Stan graduated in 1952 from Campion Academy in Loveland and then attended the Northwest Institute of Medical Technology in Minneapolis, Minn. He attended Walla Walla College in College Place, Wash., where he studied for two years, marrying his first wife, Helen A. (Ann) Lampson. After returning to Colorado, he continued work in the auto repair business with his father at Paddock Auto Repair.During his growing-up years, he traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico with his parents. He was a life-long history buff, loving to stop at all the historic monuments and road signs. He always had a love for cars. He raced at Big Country Speedway in Cheyenne and became a crewmember at Colorado National Speedway in Erie. Stan was a great father and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his second wife, Alyce (Brown) Paddock; and parents, Jesse and Esther Paddock.He is survived by his children, Cindy (Bill) Patten, Rex (Shelley) Paddock, and Barb Simonton; and stepchildren, Traci (Eric) Hess and Brett (Chrissy) Allison; also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 16, 2017, at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 11th Ave., Evans, Colo. 80620.In lieu of flowers, it is the wishes of the family that the memorial remembrances are made to The American Cancer Society in care of Moser Funeral Service. Kim Ewoldt of Alda; a son and daughter-in-law, Kurt and Tracy Houghton of Chapman; a brother, Danny Crowell of Merino, Colo.; and sisters, Cindy Chesterman of Akron, Colo., and Karen Petersen of Loveland, Colo.Others left to cherish her memory include her grandchildren, Bryan, Kaden, Cooper, Matt, Michelle, Danielle, Elizabeth, Arianna and Michael; her great-grandchildren, Braylee, Brayden and Bennett; and numerous nieces and nephews.Marilyn grew up in Sterling, graduating from Sterling High School in 1964. She married Gary D. Houghton on Sept. 11, 1964, at Sterling. They lived in Merino. Marilyn was a homemaker caring for her children while Gary was a jockey/gate crew/valet/trainer of thoroughbred horses on the thoroughbred horse racing circuit in Colorado. In 1984 they began racing in Nebraska, making Grand Island their permanent home in 2002. Marilyn worked on the backside for G.I. Farm Supply. In 1996 she began her 18-year career as a secretary in the Nebraska Racing Office.Marilyn treasured her family dearly and especially loved following her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews’ school and sporting events.She was a member of the Chapman Methodist Church and enjoyed attending Bible study classes.She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Kelley Press; brothers, Dale, Duane and Ricky; sister, Dorothy; and a niece, Baylee.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Marilyn’s name to be designated at a later date.

Donald Gene “Don” Kehn, 77, of Rocky Ford passed away on Feb. 6, 2017 at the Pioneer Health Care Center in Rocky Ford. He was born on July 1, 1939, to Clarence and Justine (Statman) Kehn in Loveland, Colorado. He married Virginia Jaynes on June 4, 1961 in La Junta.Don enjoyed going to yard sales and watching T.V. He will be greatly missed.He is survived by his wife, Virginia Kehn; children, Sandra Kehn, Ronald and Edward Kehn; grandchildren, Michael Kehn, R.J. Kehn and Nicole Armstrong; two great-grandchildren also survive. She was raised in Casper, Wyoming and graduated from Natrona County High School in 1979. Tammy was married to Jeff Lyman on July 16, 1988. They were married 28 years and together 33 years. Together they raised their two daughters, Stephanie and Valorie.Tammy worked at the A&W throughout high school and then went on to work at Wyoming National Bank for 13 years, beginning as a teller and ending her career as an operation specialist. After her second child, she left the workforce to care for her two daughters and ended up caring for several nephews over the years. In her recent years, she was property owner and manager for several rentals in Casper, WY. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, vacationing, dancing, watching horse racing and watching “the game” (football) and spending time with her family.
