PARMA, Ohio - Former Parma Area Chamber of Commerce president and City of Parma Service Director Vickie Stanley died Jan. 13 after a long battle with cancer. She was 64.Vickie Stanley Courtesy of the Stanley Family/special to cleveland.com Stanley is survived by her husband, Bud, and their three children: Bud Jr., Linnie and Roy. She and Bud have many grandchildren.For the last nine years, Stanley worked for the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.She was a member of the Henninger House Task Force and an integral member of the Lovell Park Committee.Chuck Germana, former Parma City Council President and Cuyahoga County Councilman, first met Stanley when she was working at Western Reserve Engineering and Surveying."I was a scout master," Germana said, "and I took a bunch of scouts to meet Vickie to get an idea of what a surveyor does. Nayana S. Parmar, 56, of Gurnee, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 5, 2016 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago surrounded by her family. She was born on August 3, 1960 in India. On May 17, 1980 in India, Nayana married the love of her life, Stalin Parmar. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Stalin; children, Naomi Parmar, Samuel Parmar and Salomi Parmar. She was preceded in death by her parents, Isudas and Cathrine Bhagat; brother, Arun I. Bhagat and sister, Kokila Norman Soloman. Visitation is Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 9am-11am at Lakeland Evangelical Free Church, 440 Hunt Club Rd., Gurnee. Funeral services are Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 11am at the church with Pastor Dan Weyerhaeuser officiating. Burial will follow at Warren Cemetery, Gurnee. The FTC's letter to the home said Ripepi failed to provide a general price list to an FTC test shopper during a visit May 11. In a follow-up visit July 27, the FTC said, the home gave a shopper a price list that did not comply with the Funeral Rule. The home also failed to provide a list of casket prices, the FTC said.Owner Louis Ripepi Jr. released a statement through a public relations agency that said: "When the technical violation was brought to our attention, we immediately and voluntary remedied this issue, including ensuring that our internal policy involves an immediate disbursement of the price lists. Our decades of exemplary services for our families speak to our stellar reputation and commitment."• F.J. Corrigan Funeral Services, 27099 Miles Road, Chagrin Falls.
