The Ohio Association of Firefighters has announced funeral arrangements for Beachwood and Willowick Fire Captain Michael L. Palumbo Jr.Palumbo, of Concord Township, lost his battle with a rare occupational brain cancer May 24. He was 49.The Palumbo family will receive friends and visitors from 1 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. June 1 and June 2 at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake.A Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. June 3 at Immaculate Conception Church, 37932 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.AdvertisementBurial will follow at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.The funeral procession will include two fire trucks, one each from Beachwood and Willowick. The procession will cross under two ladders as it enters the cemetery.Visitation and the funeral Mass are open to the public. WILLOWICK ? Joyce (Adamko) Streb, 75, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Feb. 25, 2017. She was born in Youngstown, Sept. 30, 1941, to the late John and Clara (Krasinski) Adamko. Joyce moved to Willowick in December of 1969 with her husband, Bill, and her two sons. Joyce retired as a RN from Lake West Hospital in 2000. She was a member of an organization for nurses known as PERI of Ohio. During her retirement, she enjoyed many things. Her favorite hobbies were reading books, penny slots, playing on the computer, watching the Indians with her husband and most of all being a big part of her grandkids? lives. She loved getting together with many of her close friends. She was a parishioner of St. Mary Magdalene and enjoyed helping with the annual festival. A loving wife, mother, ?Nana? and aunt to many.
