Eugene Paul Williams, Sr., 85, former longtime resident of Norwalk, CT, transitioned peacefully on October 23, 2016 in Bristow, VA.  He was born on August 22, 1931 in Camden, SC to Lee Williams and Rebecca Mickle Williams.  Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Reola Hodges Williams of Bristow, VA; three sons, Eugene P. Williams, Jr. (Nancy), Pernell Williams (Perrie) and Joseph Williams,Sr. (Pamela); five grandchildren; three sisters, Thelma Carter, Natalie Tucker and Amela Young and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Visitation was held on Monday, October 31, 2016, followed by a service of celebration at Bethel AME Church, 19 Academy St., Norwalk, CT with Rev. Dr. Richard Wesley Clarke officiating.  Viewing will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 8:00am-10:00am at Collins Funeral Home in Camden, SC with a Graveside service following at St. Paul United Methodist Church Cemetery at 11:00am. Eugene Paul Williams, Sr., 85, former longtime resident of Norwalk, CT, transitioned peacefully on October 23, 2016 in Bristow, VA.  He was born on August 22, 1931 in Camden, SC to Lee Williams and Rebecca Mickle Williams.  Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Reola Hodges Williams of Bristow, VA; three sons, Eugene P. Williams, Jr. (Nancy), Pernell Williams (Perrie) and Joseph Williams,Sr. (Pamela); five grandchildren; three sisters, Thelma Carter, Natalie Tucker and Amela Young and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Visitation was held on Monday, October 31, 2016, followed by a service of celebration at Bethel AME Church, 19 Academy St., Norwalk, CT with Rev. Dr. Richard Wesley Clarke officiating.  Viewing will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 8:00am-10:00am at Collins Funeral Home in Camden, SC with a Graveside service following at St. Paul United Methodist Church Cemetery at 11:00am.
