He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Margaret (Peggy) (Heffernan) Kelly; his four children, sons - Kenneth Kelly (Kerry), Raymond Kelly (Kelly), Michael Kelly (Patti) and daughter, Mary Beth Seamands; numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his grandchildren, Meghan and Frederick Kelly. Fred was born January 18, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY. After a successful term in the US Army as a Captain, Fred owned a successful landscape company in Connecticut and was Superintendent of Parks in Greenwich, CT during his young adulthood, then moved to Arizona in 1970 with Peggy and his children. During his career in Arizona, Fred held many positions including Assistant Registrar of Contractors for the State of Arizona, and a "Cactus Cop" for the Department of Agriculture, and was featured in Reader's Digest. Fred was an integral part in the building of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, and the street is named for...
