Greenbrier Nursing Home. She attended and graduated from Enid High School in 1969. She received her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from East Central University in Ada. Lavatta lived in McAlester where she taught the blind. She moved back to Enid where she worked for DHS teaching the blind. Lavatta attended Community Bible Church and Victory Bible Church. She was an avid swimmer at the YMCA. Lavatta is survived by her mother Betty of Goltry, two sisters Larue Buller and husband Lyle of Enid, Rhonda Sanders and husband Vernon, Jr of Goltry and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
