She is survived by her husband David Linthicum, of the home in Broken Arrow; her father, Bernard Flaming, of Ponca City; two children, Lacy Ferguson and husband James, of Broken Arrow; Jerod Linthicum, of Tulsa; three brothers, Daryl, Brent, and Sam Flaming, sister Anita Flaming; five grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.Memorials in Cheri’s name may be made to Enid Mennonite Brethren Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.Condolences may be made and services viewed online at www.ladusauevans.com.

She is survived by her children, Chris Vap of Burlington, Curtis Vap of Newkirk, Nancy Vap of Ponca City, and David and Rene Vap of Kildare; her sister, Mary Wilson of Casper, Wyo.; and four grandchildren, Charles, Luke, Molley and Cheredan. In addition to Alvin, Glady’s husband of 39 years, she was preceded in death by her parents; and four siblings, Don Means, Virginia Loftin, Ruby Loudon and John Means, Jr. Prayer Services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday in Miller-Stahl Funeral Chapel led by the Rev. Dava Undralla. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 6 in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with the Rev. Carson Krittenbrink as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Newkirk Cemetery under the direction of Miller-Stahl Funeral Service. The body will lie in state at the funeral home Friday from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. A memorial fund has been established with St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
