Commander in 1955. He was very active and enjoyed participating in a variety of committees, and organizing activities associated with the LWVO. He also was a member of the Chester P. Tuttle, Post #279, American Legion in Auburn, Massachusetts.Among the things he enjoyed most was playing cribbage in the Worcester Cribbage League, gardening, playing pinochle with family and friends, cooking, and for years he was the Manager of the Lithuanian War Veterans Drum and Bugle Corps, where he served as a surrogate parent and role model to numerous Worcester youth, and for which he was honored with the title of “Mr. Drum Corps” in 1963. Family was extremely important to him and he greatly enjoyed family cookouts and gatherings at the family home in Auburn. Tony leaves the love of his life and wife of 71 years, Helen (Ruksnaitis) Leketa of Auburn, three children, Anthony F. Leketa and his fiancee Victoria Lehr of Gambrills, Maryland, Robert J. Leketa and his wife Melanie J. of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Cynthia A. Leketa of Auburn, Massachusetts, and a sister, Rita Lynch and her husband James Lynch of West Boylston. He leaves seven grandchildren Stacy Mongeau, Shane Leketa, Sherry Leketa, Sonya Crane, Stephanie Cleek, Sara Leketa and Anthony F. Leketa, Junior. He also was great-grandfather to ten great grandchildren and leaves numerous nieces and nephews.We will all miss our father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. You will forever be a part of us. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Tony’s family from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, March 21st at the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Opal is survived by her only son George William Groce and Sylvia of Kernersville; grandchildren Ginger Groce and Robin of Oak Ridge and Jeff Groce and Bonnie of Kernersville; great-grandchildren William Groce and Kimberly of Kernersville and Anna Groce of Kernersville; great-great grand-daughters Chloe and Lilly Groce; brothers Nelson Angell and Earlene and Oliver Angell and Carol. Opal was retired from Adam-Millis. She spent her free time sewing, gardening and travelling in her later years. (Green) Coultrip and lived in the Florence Township area her entire life.She was a graduate of Birmingham High School and graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Teaching Certificate. Luella was a teacher at Milan and Berlin Heights Local Schools, a Library Technician at Sandusky Mills School, a substitute teacher at Wakeman and Firelands schools and took pride in her most rewarding jobs as a homemaker, mother and grandmother.She was a member of Collins United Methodist Church, a former member of Florence Congregational Church and Berlin Heights UCC and was a school board member for 20 years at Firelands Local School. Luella was a teacher at Milan and Berlin Heights Local Schools, a Library Technician at Sandusky Mills School, a substitute teacher at Wakeman and Firelands schools and took pride in her most rewarding jobs as a homemaker, mother and grandmother.She was a member of Collins United Methodist Church, a former member of Florence Congregational Church and Berlin Heights UCC and was a school board member for 20 years at Firelands Local School. Tanner, Trey, Averi and Alli Bogart and Briley Roush, several nieces, nephews and brothers-in-law, Marvin (Shirley) Eyre of Sardinia, Chester (Linda) Eyre of Hillsboro, brothers-in-law, Otto Tuttle of Chillicothe and Rodger Roberts of Winchester, sisters-in-law Verna (Charles) Burnett and Lucille Eyre of Hillsboro.In addition to her parents, Caryl Jean was preceded in death by her three sisters, Letha Tuttle, Brenda Roberts, and Phyllis Roberts and brothers/sisters-in-law Harold and Carol Eyre, Brothers-in-law Dene Eyre, Gene Eyre and Alvin Eyre.Services will be held at the Sardinia Church of Christ, Monday October 17, 2016 at 11:00 am with Kevin Hamilton and Chris Gobin officiating.  Interment will follow in the Mowrystown Cemetery, Fenwick Road.Friends will be received at the church Sunday, October 16, 2016, 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sardinia Church of Christ or Southern Ohio Pregnancy Center.  The Edgington Funeral Home, Mowrystown, is entrusted with arrangements.
