For "Here We Are: Feminism for the Real World" (Algonquin Young Readers), an anthology designed for readers 14 and older, Delavan writer-editor Jensen has pulled together original and reprinted essays, stories and artworks from both famous (Mindy Kaling, Roxane Gay) and less well-known but equally feisty contributors. The collection's intriguing titles include "I Have Always Eaten the Bread," "Dragging Myself into Self-Love" and "Great Girl Friendships in Fiction." Boswell Books.Christina Baker Kline, 2 p.m. March 5. The author of "Orphan Train" returns with "A Piece of the World" (William Morrow), a novel that  imagines the life of the woman depicted in Andrew Wyeth's famous painting "Christina's World." Tom was a combat-wounded veteran from the Korean War (U.S. Army 1950-52), and owned a family shoe store, Tom's Family Shoes, in Delavan, where he and his surviving wife, Camilla, raised four boys: Mark, who resides in WI and is married to Sharon and has one son, Taylor; Tom (Jr.) who resides in NC; Bill, who resides in NC and has three children (Ryan, Will and Nikki) and Jon, who resides in CO and is married to Kirsten. In 1958, Tom married the love of his life, Camilla (Shields), and they lived in Milwaukee before relocating to Delavan in April of 1962, where they purchased a home and established Tom's Family Shoe Store. While in Delavan, Tom and Camilla raised their four sons, and Tom was an established businessman and supporter of many entities, which included: Chamber of Commerce; longstanding parishioner of St. Andrew's Parish; American Legion Post 95 (actively participated in Veteran's Day Parades and events); he was a fixture of Delavan's Maxwell Street Day; and sponsored many teams (bowling, baseball). Tom bowled in the commercial league for 25 years, and was an avid golfer at Delbrook Golf Course, where he was a member of the Men's Club. Tom enjoyed his many daily interactions with Tom's Family Shoes' customers and lifelong friends, and was passionate about developing and maintaining a thriving business climate in Delavan; playing cribbage with neighbors; listening to Big Band music;...
