Amy Hassenpflug and husband, Leon of Lynchburg; a half-brother, David Scott of Lynchburg and his mother, Gail Scott of Oxford, Florida; two nieces, Rachel Hartline and husband, Beau of Dodgeville, Wisconsin and Madeline Hassenpflug of Lynchburg; and a number of other extended family members and friends. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at Thacker Brothers Scottsville Funeral Home by the Reverend James O. Radford. Interment will be private. St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, Wis. She was born on April 5, 1940, near Muscoda, Wis., the daughter of Greg and Aszlie (Standish) Bomkamp. Kay married Ronald G. James on Dec. 6, 1975, in Dodgeville, Wis. Kay worked at Wisconsin Department of Transportation for many years. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles and especially her two dogs.Survivors include her husband, Ron James of Sextonville, Wis.; three sisters, Donna Beecher of Marshfield, Wis., Karen (Gary) Hardy of Richland Center, Wis., and Diane (Roger) Hisel of Ithaca, Wis.; a brother, David (Mary) Bomkamp of Apple Valley, Minn.; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, and an infant brother, Dennis Bomkamp.The family would like to thank the staff at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison for their care and compassion.A Celebration of Kay's Life will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016, at the CLARY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME in Richland Center. DODGEVILLE - Dennis L. "Denny" Antonson, age 71, of Dodgeville, died on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016, due to a heart attack. Denny was born on Aug. 31, 1945, in Mount Horeb. Denny proudly served 33 years with the U.S. Army, including three years of active duty with one year in Vietnam with the 1st Air Calvary. He married Rebecca Foley on Aug. 2, 1969. Denny then worked in the Banking and Insurance Industries until his death.He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Ida (Mickelson) Antonson; two sisters, Marilyn (James) Kelley and Julie Antonson; and two brothers-in-law, Richard and John Foley.Denny is survived by his wife, Becky of Dodgeville; two sons, Leif of Dodgeville and Kirk (Julie) of Platteville; two grandchildren, Kyle and Alyssa; his brother, Lyle (Mary Ann) of Dodgeville; a brother-in-law, David (Susan) Foley of Highland; three sisters-in-law, Sharon (Bruce) Reigler of Sherrill, Iowa, Judy (Tim) Paulsen of Blue River and Valerie Foley of Highland; as well as many nieces...
