Monday, December 19, 2016Frank and Emelda (Sabel) Buechel in Jericho.He married Patricia Marie Meyer on Oct. 6, 1951, in St. Anna. They were married for 34 years until her death in 1985.Elroy was employed at the Kohler Company for 36 years until his retirement in 1991. He pursued farming in St. Anna until he moved to Kiel in 1982.He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.He loved listening to polka music and playing sheepshead. He was an avid Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Packer and Wisconsin Badger Fan.Elroy is survived by his nine children and their spouses, Barbara (Henry) Reiss of Elkhart Lake, Beverly Moureau of DePere, Deborah (Donald) Winkler of Stockbridge, Annette (Florentino) Soto of Sheboygan, Merlin Buechel of Kiel, Steven (Elizabeth) Buechel of St. Anna, Mark (Debra) Buechel of St. Anna, Jeffrey (Amy) Buechel of Plymouth, DuWayne Buechel of St. Anna; 23 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
