DEKA Research and Development in Manchester, was found unresponsive on the Skyway trail on March 12.The ski patrol delivered cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and he was transported to New London Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.According to an online obituary, Schnellinger worked at DEKA for the last 17 years. Thomas had exceptional welding and mechanical design skills and was named on many patents as a co-inventor.Survivors include his mother, Dagmar; his brother, Andrew; and his fiancée, Angela, who lives in Merrimack.Calling hours are today from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Conte Funeral Home in North Andover, Mass.
