Lloyd B.G. Rogers passed away Sunday, June 25,2017 at the age of 80. Lloyd was originally from Grafton, Illinois and moved to Fulton, N.Y. in 1976, where he had a successful career at Owen – Illinois ,Inc. for 35 years. Upon retiring he relocated to Muscle Shoals, Al in 1996 with his wife, Frances of 56 years. He was an active member of Grace Life Baptist Church in Muscle Shoals. He served honorably in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper. Lloyd was a loving husband, a devoted son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great grandfather, who will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Mary Patricia “Patsy” Fogle, 82, of Frederick, Md., went to be with her loving Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 21, 2017.Born March 17, 1935, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Owen E. and Eva (Grossnickle) Ecker.She graduated from Frederick High School in 1953, attended Strayer Business College and worked for Commercial Credit Corp. and Enoch Pratt Library before becoming a full-time homemaker.She loved music and the piano, and could play Addinsell’s “Warsaw Concerto” from memory. She also was proficient at tatting, having learned from her grandmother, and made many items including doilies and collars.She was a longtime and faithful member of Frederick Church of the Brethren and a member of the Homebuilders Class.In addition to her husband of nearly 57 years, Charles E. Fogle Sr., whom she married Aug. 13, 1960, she leaves behind two sons, Charles Fogle Jr. and Timothy Fogle; daughter, Angela Kendle (husband Mel); granddaughter, Kayla Fogle; grandsons, Grant and Ian Fogle; sister, Helen Craig (husband Stanley); sister-in-law, Carolyn Ecker; and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Ecker.The family will receive friends T...

LAURENS -- David Lee Abrams, 76, husband of Martha Ann Owens Abrams, of 110 Shady Lane, died Monday, June 12, 2017 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.Born in Laurens County, he was a son of the late Joseph Preston “JP” and Jessie Mitchell Abrams. He was an Associate member of Ware Shoals First Presbyterian Church and the Men’s Bible Sunday School Class. He was a past member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church and was a veteran of the US Army Reserves. He was a graduate of Upper Iowa University, where he earned a BA Degree. Mr. Abrams retired from Monsanto after 36 years of service. He was a member of the Ware Shoals Catfish Feastival Board of Directors, and was an active and involved volunteer in any Ware Shoals community activity. He was a member of the RE/Water Greenville SC, committee serving to monitor the needs and quality of the Reedy River Water Shed. John Hathcock officiating. There will also be a very special funeral send off at the Madison County Executive Airport in Meridianville, Ala.
