Container { margin-top: 10px; margin-bottom: 20px; }Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Grace Gulledge, age 93, of Eufaula was held at 1 P.M., Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Kent Funeral Home Chapel in Eufaula. Visitation was held from 12:30 noon until 1 p.m. Rev. Joey McCreight officiated and burial followed in Sardis Church Cemetery. Mrs. Gulledge died Sunday, March 19 at her home after a lengthy illness. Born August 4, 1923 in Barbour County, Mrs. Gulledge was the daughter of the late Lloyd Lee and Willie B. Zorn Gilmore. She had lived in Eufaula since 1988 coming from Atlanta. Mrs. Gulledge was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Randall Gulledge, her daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Mack Peel and a grandson-in-law, Jerry Stephenson. Mrs. Gulledge worked with her husband at their businesses, Randall's Truck Stop and the Drive Around It as manager and waitress. Dick married Carolyn Snow in August of 1977. He would tell you that there wasn’t a marriage better than theirs. They loved to travel and spend time together. He enjoyed going to Lake Eufaula as well as South Padre Island where they had a condo and would spend the winter months.He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.He was preceded in death by his parents.He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Carolyn Dixson; children, Mike Dixson and wife Jodi, Steve Snow-Stone and husband Ronald; half-brother, David Dixson; grandchildren, Zane and Kade Dixson; a host of other family and friends.Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Resthaven Funeral Home.Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Resthaven Funeral Home with Chaplain Darrell Whitten officiating. Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Bell Fry, age 86, of Eufaula were held Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 11 A.M. at Kent Funeral Home Chapel in Eufaula. Rev. Paul J. Miller officiated and burial followed at 1 p.m. (CST) in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery in Seale, AL. Visitation for Mrs. Fry was held one hour prior to services from 10 until 11 a.m. at Kent Funeral Home. Mrs. Fry died Monday, January 30, 2017 at her home surrounded by her husband and children. Born January 20, 1931 in Waynesville, MO, Mrs. Fry was the daughter of the late James D. and Grace Evelyn Clark Rollins. She and her husband Richard Dane Fry had lived in Eufaula for the past 20 years coming from Davenport, Iowa. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church, treasurer for Barbour County Pregnancy Resource Center, knit slippers for residents at Crowne Health Care and various other charities local and afar and was a volunteer at Fendall Hall. Born June 16, 1938, in Eufaula, Alabama, Mr. Mobley was the son of the late Robert William Mobley and Bertha Mae Blackmon Deal. Mr. Mobley was a retired Gunnery Sergeant in the United States Marines and was a veteran of the Viet Nam War. He also served in Lebanon and was awarded the Combat Action Ribbon and many medals. Mr. Mobley was preceded in death by his grandsons C.J. Hatfield, Timothy Carroll Reese and his great granddaughters Jordan Marie Doughtie and Annslie Faye Duncan. Survivors include his daughters: Sherry Mobley (Derrell) Greene of Eufaula, AL. and Doni Mobley (Steve) Cox of Fort Gaines, GA.; grandchildren: Lucindi Ann Reese of Panama City, FL., Phillip Edward (Christie) Duncan of Henegar, AL., Ethan Oliver Greene of Eufaula, AL., and Christie Lee Hatfield Baker of Elba, AL.; great grandchildren: Taylor Gardner, Lane Gardner, Kayla Doughtie, Jaci Reese-Adair, Rachel Dowie, Reese Green, Emma Duncan, Rylee Duncan; one brother: Billy Deal of Albany, GA.; three sisters: Gloria Ann Milner , Dorothy (Charles) Bruce, and Carolyn Penny all of Dawson, GA.
