(Elaine) Ruby of Canfild, Ohio, Geraldine “Gerrie” (James) Thomas, of Meridian, Mississippi, Edith A. (the late Kenneth, Sr.) Slusher of Lake Milton, Ohio, Dwayne I. “Buddy” (Connie) Ruby of Kingston, Ohio and Nevada “Liz” (the Robert K. Sr.) Chalfant of Youngstown, Ohio; siblings, Ethel Ford, Hannah McKnight, Margaret Cornelius, Elise Gates, Sally Hess and Joe Bollman; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.Besides her parents Nevada was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William D Ruby; siblings, Ruth Tedrow, Paul Bollman, Dolly DuVall, Maryann Weaver, David Bollman; two grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.While Nevada had a hard life her family said that she was the most kind and loving mother anyone could ever have, that she made sure all of her grandchildren had a blanket made by her own hand, that her door was always open and no matter how little she had nobody was ever turned away because she would make a place for them so they felt welcome. Saturday, April 08, 2017Geraldine Grace (McGovern) D’Elia died unexpectedly on Saturday April 1, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her devoted husband and best friend Nunzi John D’Elia of 55 years, two daughter’s Maryann (D’Elia) Copeland and husband Jim of Leicester and Catherine ( D’Elia) Fontaine and husband Timothy of Leicester; three sons John D’Elia and wife Annie of Illinois, Peter D’Elia and wife Ashley of Auburn and Joseph D’Elia and his companion Jennifer. Monday, April 03, 2017TN, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Tennessee State Veterans Home in Humboldt.??He was born on November 19, 1949 in Dyer County to the late James Robert (Dick) Wilson and the late Geraldine McDaniel Wilson. Billy received a higher technical education from Newbern VoTech and continued a career in industrial maintenance throughout his lifetime. First, working at Hoover Universal for 10 years and then later retired from Quebecor World after 20 years of employment. Billy was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War, where he received the Bronze Star Medal. He was also a former member of Lenox Baptist Church and West Dyersburg Church of Christ.??Services will be at 3 p.m. today in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Rick Crawford officiating. ??The family will receive visitors from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. today at Dyersburg Funeral Home.??Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Linda S.
