Monday, June 27, 2016Sam Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. He is preceded in death by his parents Noonan Bryant and Mary Evelyn Bostick of Red Bay, ALLebert is survived by his wife of 51 years Jean Bostick. And his sister Flora Ann Bostick Suschak (Paul) of Hoover, AL. Mr. Bostick was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Athens. Retired president of Central Bank of Athens (now known as Compass Bank). He is a graduate of the University of Alabama. Lebert served our country in the United States Army in World War II in the European Theater as one of the gentlemen that gave out our brave countrymen their pay. He enjoyed the game of golf and played regularly. He was also known for his story telling abilities about events and things surrounding his life. He loved his home town, Red Bay, AL, family and friends. Also, he was an avid fan of the University of Alabama football. The family would like to extend a very special thanks to Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home who cared for Lebert with the up most care and Love. Pallbearers will be family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
