Monday, March 27, 2017Tommy was born Dec. 28, 1947, in Morenci to William Jack and Iva Ruth Adams.Tommy graduated from Duncan High School and, soon after, married the love of his life, Donna Farley, on March 4, 1966, in Safford. Together, they raised three children: Danny, Kandy and Karen.He became a carpenter by trade and loved doing woodworking projects. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings and positions.He is survived by: his one true love, Donna Adams; daughters; Kandy (Clint) Bassett and Karen (Jim) Norton; siblings; Jackie Moore, Norman (Zoann) Adams and Debra (Carl) Crotts; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.He was preceded in death by: his parents, William and Iva Ruth Adams; and his son, Danny Wayne Adams.A viewing will be held Friday, March 10, 2017, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the newly renovated Caldwell Funeral Chapel, and then again Saturday, March 11, 2017, beginning at 9 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Thatcher Stake Center, with the funeral service to follow at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the Graham Cemetery.Arrangements are under the direction of McDougal’s Caldwell Funeral Chapel & Gila Valley Crematory.Online condolences may be extended at www.caldwellfuneralchapel.com.

He is also survived by his companion, Judy Fisher.He was preceded in death by: his parents, Audrey and Leland; and his brother, Les Windsor.Services to celebrate his life were held Friday, Feb. 10, 2017, at 11 a.m., at the First United Methodist Church in Safford, with interment in the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Bisbee at 3:30 p.m.Arrangements are under the direction of McDougal’s Caldwell Funeral Chapel & Gila Valley Crematory.
