Monday, June 19, 2017Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Yale, Ok.Sidney was born on November 29, 1926 in Okemah, Oklahoma to Luther C. and Bessie (Whitall) Burrow. He grew up and attended school in Bearden. Sidney joined the U. S. Army serving from 1945 to 1946 during WWII. After serving his country, he returned to Agra then moved to Wellston and then moved to Yale on a farm where he resided until his death. Sidney worked at O.S.U. Physical plant as a roofer, retiring in 1992. Sidney lived on a farm in Yale and enjoyed raising cattle, farming, riding his tractors and wearing his overalls. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Yale. Sidney loved watching his children and grandchildren play sports of any kind.Sidney is survived by his son Jerry Burrow and wife Sharon of Stillwater, daughters Chrissi Friedemann and husband Randy of Stillwater, Roxanne Rickner and husband Jim of Yale, Belinda Eberhart and husband Kevin of Yale, brother Nathan Burrow and wife Thelma of Holdenville, grandchildren Sara Dawson and husband Wes, Amanda Jacob and husband Lance, Kelley Gallagher and husband John, Lindsey Elston and husband Jarad, Andrew Rickner, Brady Eberhart, great grandchildren Jacob, Kayle, Vanessa, Chance and Lily, nieces Mamie Lee of San Jose, Ca., Cheryl Howard and husband Todd of Berryville, Ark., Louise Tooms and husband Tom of Berryville, Ark.He was preceded in death by his parents, son Jeff Burrow, brothers Russell Burrow, Sisters Alice Works, Irene Martin, Juanita Green and an infant sister.Condolences and online guest book are available at www.palmermarlerfh.com.
