Justin Sjogren; three brothers, Richard (Sharon) French, David, Rob (Terry); two sisters, Nancy (Steven) Hill and Joanne (Sean) Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be announced later in the fall. Monday, September 05, 2016NORTH WESTMINSTER — Justin Beebe's big dream came true this spring, when he became a Lolo Hotshot firefighter for the U.S. Forest Service.But Beebe's dream became a nightmare this weekend for his family and friends , as the 26-year-old was killed by a falling tree as Beebe and other wildland firefighters fought to contain the 4,600-acre Strawberry Fire in Great Basin National Park in eastern Nevada, started by lightning a few days earlier.His parents, Betsy and Sheldon Beebe, along with his sister, Jessica, and his girlfriend, Jenny Zaso, were surrounded Monday by family and friends at their North Westminster home, being comforted by the people who knew the young firefighter best.The family was amazingly calm, perhaps a tribute to Betsy Beebe's years of work as a hospice nurse, as well as secure in the knowledge that Justin Beebe died doing what he had dreamed about for 10 years.“We're personally lucky — we have no regrets with him,” said his mother, Betsy. “He was the best son you could ask for.”“It was the per...
