BULL SHOALS, Ark. — A Miami teenager was one of three people who died during two cliff-related accidents on Bull Shoals Lake over the weekend.William Carver, 18, drowned after he jumped off a bluff popularly known as Dinosaur Head near the Brown's Beach area.Carver graduated from Wyandotte High School last month, according to principal Steve Buckingham.Buckingham said the teen was on vacation at the time of his death.“He was a hard-working kid that really worked hard his senior to overcome some obstacles and meet all our graduation requirements,” Buckingham said. “He was one of the kids I was really proud of that made it.”He said Carver attended all four years at WHS.According to a Marion County Sheriff’s Office news release, Carver swam to the bluff, climbed up and jumped into the water from a height of 30 to 40 feet, but had difficulty getting back to the boat and went under.The sheriff's office was notified of the call just before 4:15 p.m. First responders from the Bull Shoals Fire...
