Greenfield. Born on March 21, 1940, to the late Claude and Crystal (Lowder) Robbins.Erwin graduated from Hancock Central High School in 1958 and would spend his career working for Delco – Remy in Anderson until his retirement in 1994. Erwin married the love of his life, Marcia (Crider) Robbins, on June 6, 1964. He was a member of the Indiana National Guard and the Greenfield Christian Church.Erwin enjoyed collecting novelty toy tractors and race cars. He was an avid Nascar and IndyCar Racing fan and enjoyed doing yardwork.Surviving Erwin is his wife, Marcia Robbins of Greenfield; brother, Robert (Jeannie) Robbins of Greenfield; and sister, Gayle (Skip) Davis of Florida.Preceding Erwin in death are his parents.Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at the funeral home with Pastor Frank Everett officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.Memorial contributions in memory of Erwin may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 5635 W 96th St #100, Indianapolis, 46278 or the Greenfield Christian Church, 23 N. Cash prizes for the top three male and female runners will be awarded and medals will be given in each of the following categories: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. A one kilometer walk will also be held for all ages.Brightview Avondell and Brightview Bel Air are Event sponsors for the 5K.
