He especially liked climbing in Summersville, West Virginia. He also enjoyed the time he spent with his daughters.In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Madison Sedona Hahn and Morgan Samantha Hahn, both of Pittsburgh; a sister, Valorie A. He then began his social work career in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania and continued to work in a similar capacity throughout western Pennsylvania including New Castle, Erie and Pittsburgh. Bob ultimately retired from the U.S. Postal Service after ten years of service.He was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Erie, Pennsylvania and a former member of St. Mary’s Church in New Castle.Bob was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Nest 455, New Castle.An athlete in his own right, Bob was an avid Pittsburgh Sports Fan.He devoted his life to family, faith and the Roman Catholic Church. Bruce was a graduate of Emsworth High School, attended Carnegie Tech and Drexel Universities and was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Civil Engineering. During World War II he worked as a shipfitter’s helper at Pearl Harbor.From 1949 until his retirement in 1982, he was employed in the Engineering Department of the Bessemer & Lake Erie Railroad. Bruce was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Greenville, where he had served on church council, served as the chairman of the Property Committee and as the Superintendent of Sunday School. In addition, he had also for some time been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Meadville and had served on the Board of Directors at Bethesda Children’s Home, where he had volunteered over 2000 hours with the construction of the Home’s Chapel. Bruce was a 54 year member of the Hempfield Township Municipal Authority, served on the Board of Directors of the Greenville Public Library, had been a Boy Scout Leader with Troop #54 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and he very much enjoyed woodworking. On September 29, 1945 he married the former, Margaret E. Floyd, she passed away on July 13, 1995, he then married the former, Frances L. Callahan on September 20, 1996, she survives. She attended Kansas City University of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating magna cum laude, and received the Golden Stethoscope Award for Outstanding Graduate.As an osteopathic physician, with board certification in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine, Sandra worked diligently for over 30 years to further scientific discovery and health care education. A National Institutes of Health-funded career academic awardee, a Macy Institute scholar and an invited faculty member on health care leadership at Harvard University, Sandra was very involved in academic medicine. She served as professor of medicine, interim chair of medicine and docent at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine and as provost, dean, vice dean and department chair at Kansas City University of Osteopathic Medicine.Sandra earned a master’s degree in bioethics and health policy focusing on research ethics from Loyola University of Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. She made countless scholarly presentations and published regularly with active participation as a board member of the American College of Chest Physicians. June 22, 1926 to Charles E. and Edith (Roberts) Stritmater. Connie was a 1944 graduate of Bellevue (Pennsylvania) High School and during the 1940’s she was employed at Allis Chalmers in Pittsburgh. Connie was a member of Hillside Presbyterian Church, Greenville, where she served on the Board of Deacons, was named Hillside Member of The Year and had sang in the choir for more than 60 years.Connie was a past volunteer at the Good Shepherd Center, UPMC Horizon Greenville Hospitality Shop and the Greenville Public Library. She was an avid reader, card player and game player. Faith and family were the focus of her life. Connie will be remembered for her kind, generous and optimistic approach to all things. On September 20, 1946 she married Donald A. Woods, he passed away on November 20, 1977. She then married William C. Burns on July 3, 1982 and he passed away on July 17, 2009. Survivors include, a daughter, Wendy Woods of York, Pennsylvania; a son, D. June 16, 1919 to John H. and Ella F. (Stahl) Wackenhut. Bruce was a graduate of Emsworth High School, attended Carnegie Tech and Drexel Universities and was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Civil Engineering. During World War II he worked as a shipfitter’s helper at Pearl Harbor.From 1949 until his retirement in 1982, he was employed in the Engineering Department of the Bessemer & Lake Erie Railroad. Bruce was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Greenville, where he had served on church council, served as the chairman of the Property Committee and as the Superintendent of Sunday School. In addition, he had also for some time been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Meadville and had served on the Board of Directors at Bethesda Children’s Home, where he had volunteered over 2000 hours with the construction of the Home’s Chapel. Bruce was a 54 year member of the Hempfield Township Municipal Authority, served on the Board of Directors of the Greenville Public Library, had been a Boy Scout Leader with Troop #54 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and he very much enjoyed woodworking. On September 29, 1945 he married the former, Margaret E. Floyd, she passed away on July 13, 1995, he then married the former, Frances L. Callahan on September 20, 1996, she survives. Grant Willsie of Omaha, Nebraska, and Dr. Philip Willsie of Wilmington, Delaware; and two great-nephews, Mac and Harvey Willsie of Wilmington, Delaware.Sandra graduated magna cum laude from Pittsburg State University with a bachelor’s degree in medical technology, biology and chemistry. She attended Kansas City University of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating magna cum laude, and received the Golden Stethoscope Award for Outstanding Graduate.As an osteopathic physician, with board certification in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine, Sandra worked diligently for over 30 years to further scientific discovery and health care education. A National Institutes of Health-funded career academic awardee, a Macy Institute scholar and an invited faculty member on health care leadership at Harvard University, Sandra was very involved in academic medicine. She served as professor of medicine, interim chair of medicine and docent at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine and as provost, dean, vice dean and department chair at Kansas City University of Osteopathic Medicine.Sandra earned a master’s degree in bioethics and health policy focusing on research ethics from Loyola University of Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. She made countless scholarly presentations and published regularly with active participation as a board member of the American College of Chest Physicians. Sandra once said “when you can’t breathe, nothing much else matters,” and in her persuasive way, she was instrumental in the creation and financial recruitment for the establishment of the Chest Foundation, for which she later served as a board member. June 22, 1926 to Charles E. and Edith (Roberts) Stritmater. Connie was a 1944 graduate of Bellevue (Pennsylvania) High School and during the 1940’s she was employed at Allis Chalmers in Pittsburgh. Connie was a member of Hillside Presbyterian Church, Greenville, where she served on the Board of Deacons, was named Hillside Member of The Year and had sang in the choir for more than 60 years.Connie was a past volunteer at the Good Shepherd Center, UPMC Horizon Greenville Hospitality Shop and the Greenville Public Library. She was an avid reader, card player and game player. Faith and family were the focus of her life. Connie will be remembered for her kind, generous and optimistic approach to all things. On September 20, 1946 she married Donald A. Woods, he passed away on November 20, 1977. She then married William C. Burns on July 3, 1982 and he passed away on July 17, 2009. Survivors include, a daughter, Wendy Woods of York, Pennsylvania; a son, D. Scott Woods and his wife, Linda of Greenville; a stepdaughter, Amy Eakin and her husband, Bob of Palm Coast, Florida; two stepsons, David W. Burns and his wife, Kathy of Palm Coast, Florida and John W.
