Viola Maxine Henshall, age 90 and longtime Bartlesville resident, went to be with her Lord on Monday, June 19, 2017, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.Maxine Thomas was born on August 2, 1926, in Ramona, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of William Ray Thomas and Jessie Fern (Cox) Thomas. She was raised in Ramona until the age of seven when the family moved to the Oglesby area. For most of her life she remained in the Bartlesville area.She attended Ramona Elementary, Tyner Elementary and graduated from eighth grade in 1940. She attended Junior and Senior High School in Ramona, later receiving her GED. She furthered her education by attending Draughon School of Business in 1977. Maxine enjoyed many different careers. She was employed with H&R Block in Tulsa as a tax consultant. She also worked for Dr. Zulkey in Tulsa as a receptionist and was a nurse aide for Charley and Helen Edwards. She later enjoyed employment with the Pink Panda Water Bed Company. She was then a self-employed tax consultant for many years.Maxine was a proud member of Happy Hill Church in Ramona. Dale retired from the University of Wyoming AFIT Minute Man Program after 20 years of employment.Dale is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ramona; his children, Ernie (Alma), Louie, Eddie (Peggy), Frances Pacheco (Frank), Joanne Arias (Leonard), Andrew (Carolyn), Veronica Vigil (Ray), Jackie Salas (Marcus), Caroline Salas (Rick) and Eric Salas; his siblings, Pita Solis, Max Salas, Mary Martinez, Connie Griego and Tony Salas; 28 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ted, Manuel and Charles Salas; sister, Gavenita; his daughter, Cindy Hehr; granddaughter, Christi Vigil; and great-grandson, Vince Jr.Dale is dearly missed by his wife and all of his family.
