Monday, March 27, 2017Fox & Murray Funeral Home. Mr. Wade passed away on Sunday, March 19th at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.Brian was born on February 3, 1937 in Saratoga, NY, a son of Walter & Margaret (Wolstenholme) Wade. He graduated from Massena High School in 1955, where he was the quarterback of the football team that was undefeated during his years there. He continued his studies at Ithaca College on a football scholarship, majoring in physical education. He married Kathleen Warren of Guildford, CT on July 5, 1958. Upon graduation from Ithaca in 1959, he returned to teach and coach at Massena School District for a few years and later moved to Newington, CT where he coached football for Loomis Preparatory School. In1968, he was recruited by Alton “Slim” Elliott, who was the OFA athletic director at the time. Brian and Kathy relocated back to Ogdensburg where he started his career at Ogdensburg Free Academy coaching football, including several Section 10 championship teams until his retirement in 1994. Monday, March 06, 2017Roland was a member of the NRA, Cape Britain Island Atlantic Salmon Association and Warriors at 45 North.The family would like to thank Dr. Theodoros Lattice of Saratoga Cardiology and his office staff, Dr. Tracey Brennen of Saratoga and her office staff for their care over the years and a special thank you to the wonderful staff on B Wing and the physicians and administration of Fort Hudson Nursing Center for the recent care and support in his last journey in life.Calling hours will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, March 6, at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St. in Queensbury.A funeral service will follow at noon at the funeral home, with the Rev. Monday, December 19, 2016Portland, Ore. Beverly married Steve Nott on June 8, 2002 and the newlyweds started their married life in Rawlins. Beverly was the owner and optometrist at High Plains Vision Center in Rawlins and Saratoga. She cared deeply for her patients and the community of Rawlins.Beverly enjoyed living in Wyoming near the mountains and many outdoor activities including running, camping, snowmobiling, scuba diving, and riding dirt bikes. Her other interests included painting and photography.Beverly was dedicated to and fiercely protective of her family and friends. She will be remembered for being strong, determined, self-reliant, and resilient; and yet was very caring and kind, smart, fun and adventurous.Beverly is survived by her husband, Steve Nott; twin children, Mitchell and Brooke; her parents, Katherine (Hoerner) and Robert Kilzer; her sisters and brothers, Carolyn (Brian) Benz, Donald (Joleen) Kilzer, Diane (Kevin) Marcotte, Wanda (James) Stipek, Jeffrey (Melissa) Kilzer, Adam (Jennifer Eckman) Kilzer, and Gwendolyn (Gilbert) Bisek; grandmother, Dorotheia Hoerner; and sixteen nieces and nephews.
